Membership

Whether you are a researcher, student or other individual interested in dental, oral and craniofacial research, the IADR welcomes you as a member. When you join, you will become a member of your local Division or Section, and your membership includes online access to the Journal of Dental Research (JDR). Please click on the tabs below for more information on how to join and what benefits are included with each membership category. The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) is a nonprofit organization with nearly 12,000 individual members worldwide, dedicated to: (1) advancing research and increasing knowledge to improve oral health worldwide , (2) supporting and representing the oral health research community, and (3) facilitating the communication and application of research findings

Membership in IADR is open to any individual who is conducting, has conducted, or who is interested in the furtherance of research in any branch of science or in fields related to oral and craniofacial health.

IADR student members are individuals currently enrolled in a recognized academic institution who do not hold an academic appointment and who are interested in oral health research. Many types of students – such as undergraduate, pre-dental, dental, masters, post-doctoral, fellows and residents – qualify for IADR student membership.

The IADR Affiliate Membership category is for any person who is not involved in research but has an interest in keeping up with the latest research, such as a practicing healthcare professional, a dental professional involved in practice-based research networks (PBRNs) or evidence-based dentistry, patient advocates, or healthcare educators with primary teaching responsibility.

IADR Affiliate Membership is available for individuals residing in countries classified as World Bank High Income. Please click here to determine your country’s World Bank Classification.

 

*Presenters at the IADR General Session and/or AADR/CADR Annual Meeting must join or renew at the Member or Student Member category.
