To advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health worldwide.

Through the Divisions and Sections, establish and support programs to promote oral health research and IADR activities. Regions with less developed research programs will be identified for specific support.

The IADR is organized into five Regions for purposes of more effective and efficient delivery of IADR Member Services. Divisions are formed when a nation, or group of geographically related nations, with 50 or more members is approved by Council.  Sections can be formed with 10 or more members.

What is IADR?
The International Association for Dental Research (IADR), headquartered in Alexandria, Va., is a non-profit organization with nearly 12,000 members worldwide.

The American Association for Dental Research (AADR) is actively involved in national legislative affairs and advocacy. AADR collaborates with numerous medical organizations to advocate for sustainable and adequate investments in biomedical research broadly, as well as focuses specifically on the need for increased commitment to dental research within various federal agencies. The AADR Government Affairs Committee works with the Director of Government Affairs to set an annual federal agenda and coordinate the advocacy activities of the organization.
